Supporting Wellness
Many women aged 40 to 60 report facing negative experiences at work during menopause, with studies showing that 67% of them feel impacted. This highlights the importance of understanding and addressing the challenges they face in the workplace. By fostering a supportive environment, employers can help alleviate these difficulties and promote a more positive work experience for all. Prioritizing and support can lead to a healthier, more productive workplace for everyone.

I WOULD SAY....
.that after the presentation, I am much more aware about the menopause. Aside from the given information on menopause, my takeaway is that I should be more patient and understanding with my peers who are experiencing menopause. The presentation reminded me that the drastic hormonal changes in menopausal-aged women is one of the culprit why women in that age have bad temper and extreme emotionality. I am also happy to learn that HRT is not as harmful as I previously thought and that I can have control over the symptoms of menopause. THANK YOU Just a thank you for organising this and highlighting that we are not on our own.
GOOD CONTENT...
\Good content and clear in the way it was delivered.Today’s session was brilliant, I found it really informative and beneficial.I AM NORMAL! Feeling normal & not alone, the best feeling ever!
WORKSHOP WAS GOOD...
The best part for me was being able to identify and acknowledge other symptoms I had been having as being some of the side effects of menopause
VERY CLEAR. ..
Hearing from a qualified nutritionist specifically in relation to menopause health. Very informative, clear & inspiring.
GOOD TO KNOW...
All of the session, the openness in how the attendees could speak openly. The stats provided which were surprising/alarming, to the content.
TIME TO TAKE CARE OF ME...
Taking time out to think about nutrition. It was very realistic about what most women can achieve in a busy life and the information didn't feel at all preachy. It's ok to do your best.
THE BEST PART ABOUT TODAY WAS...
...that it was friendly and informal. Also finding out more about general health and that I’m not the only one who gets confused by diets/media etc menopause mental health support workshops in the workplace menopause education & support workshops in the workplace menopause, mental health, support workshops in the workplace!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT...
I learned so much – and shared the good health benefits with my family. Many top tips shared such as using Nutri Advanced vitamins rather than supermarket own label. Food for thought. Also loved the mindfulness session – life is so busy, lovely to have a few minutes of rest and calm. menopause mental health support.

GREAT FACTS
It was reassuring to know what symptoms can be attributed to menopause and what may need further investigations; good to have the HRT facts and statistics presented in an easy to understand format so I can make better lifestyle choices; and the reasons why there are different HRT therapies and the side effects of using natural remedies – it was very informative and I feel so much more confident in looking after myself, but also being able to question my GP when needed.

HELPFUL...
Found the “meeting” really helpful on a more personal level too, the statistics of women leaving their job, or going part time or that just in general find it difficult to continue working due to menopause symptoms was shocking! – seeing that there were many participants from different areas and levels of the business, has given me the reassurance that the organisation is very committed to supporting women through the menopause and the confidence that I can still thrive professionally despite “brain fog”!
